Une chanson triste

This video was posted the day after I saw Loney, Dear's live gig. This song, Le Fever, was delivered with so much emotion... the eighty-ish persons in Club Lambi were surely wow'ed by the performance. Bravo la Blogotheque for all your amazing Concert à emporter. Notice the Swedish accent when Emil says "une chanson triste"...

On my way to the grocery, I saw a store that wasn't new. But it was new to me. I believe it only exists if you want it to exists. I didn't get the name of the store, but I will edit this post with the info eventually...

Do I like this video because I like the music? or do I like the music because I like the video? I don't know.

Do impossible things

It's not new material, but it's quite new to me. This rare track from Jens Lekman once was available on his label website, Secretly Canadian, it no longer is. It's beautiful, slow paced, and insistent... There is not much I have to say about it, but maybe there is much for you to enjoy.

Turn me on

I have been obsessed with this video for a while now. It should have been my first post, but Miranda came in my life with better timing. If you can enjoy the particular voice, I wish for you to fall in love with this Casady sisters’s performance. I have spine shivers when I see Bianca moving those gray sweatpants and I can’t believe Sierra’s trumpet sound. I have seen other video performance of this song, but I believe this is the best one. Somehow, magic happened. If I could time-travel, this is one moment in history I would go to. Please try not to think of the original version by Kevin Little.

Blonde Redhead & Miranda July

It's a great feeling to see 2 things you love, independently one from the other, together. This week, I had such feeling when I was sent this video of Blonde Redhead.

Staring the amazing Miranda July, the video couldn't be more artsy. If the video turns your moment from gray into blue, you might want to see her movie Me and you and everyone we know.

Alright, I will blog

So here it is. I jump into the blog wagon. I will post about anything that made a moment turned from gray into blue. Or from already blue to a brighter blue.
